20 miles and counting this week!

Whilst I am sitting down and watching my favourite american TV series at the moment, I thought I would update you with this week’s progress. Let’s just say it’s been an adventurous and historical week. The historical part is the moving on from my old job and preparing to start a fresh in my new role 10am on Monday. You may wonder how on earth I cope with such a big event. New environment, new people, new circumstances, and the unknown! That could well be another blog for another time. Read more »

[04 Mar 2012] Just almost half-way!

I thought I’d take an opportunity during my lunch break (whilst tucking into my cream of tomato soup from a well known brand) to give you a peek in to yesterdays run. It will be the first of many running landmarks in the coming weeks. 15 miles planned for next weekend. 18 miles the weekend after that. Then who knows! I’m going to be slogging my way around the 26 mile singular assault course which is the London Marathon! (if you did not already know) Read more »

[14 Oct 2011] It’s now game on!

It’s Friday morning on the 7.30 commuter train and still have I not found a happy commuter! Maybe that’s the British way. Keep yourself to yourself when necessary. Anyway, this at least gives me time to concentrate on writing my updates to you. Especially when the harsh winter is (supposedly) arriving. Read more »

[04 Oct 2011] The journey starts here!

Well, well, well! The website has been updated, things tweaked and a brand new section has arrived. 6 months of blood, sweat and tears ahead to complete the challenge which is 26.2 miles of continuous running. I’m thinking now; what the hell am I doing!? Watching my brother complete the 26.2 miles made me think about my life challenges. If I’ve got through everything that’s been chucked at me, why couldn’t I set myself one of the ultimate challenges neurotypical people are insane enough to put themselves through? Read more »
